I was at a plateau in my training. I decided to try go to the next level and compete in a fitness competition. I knew that I would need help getting there. I asked Justin to train me because I had seen the results that his clients had gotten and knew that he could help. Justin got me in the best shape I had ever been in. Not only did my overall physique improve I gained core strength, balance, and improved overall strength. I placed fourth in my first competition and with the conditioning and improved strength that I had gained I went on to win 1st place in my next competition. I was at a point in my life where I didn’t know what to do anymore. I was the heaviest I have ever been in my life at 5’8” and 270lbs. When I decided to do something about my weight a trainer isn’t the first thing that came into my mind. I thought if I started running I would lose weight the same way I always had. The only problem with that is that all I could ever lose was 12 to 15lbs on my own. I, hesitantly, signed up for a personal trainer and started getting to work. Instead of losing weight I ended up transforming my entire body. I lost over 80 pounds! I got stronger, leaner, and as a result I gained a lot more self confidence. So the way that training with Justin impacted my life was by giving me a new beginning in a physically and mentally better body.
I would recommend Justin to anybody who has the desire to make a lifestyle change, but don’t know quite how to get started. Justin is encouraging, knowledgeable, and cares about his clients.

Since training with Justin, my health and overall strength has benefited in so many ways. When I first started I noticed right away that my cardio strength improved I was able to do an extended cardio workout without getting extremely fatigued. I was never interested in getting “bulky” and working with Justin has enabled me to tone up and still look like a women. My overall health ha s benefitted the most from working out with Justin. I was only 24 and I had developed high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My doctor had even put me on blood pressure medication and I knew at that point I had to change something. 3 years later and 20 pounds lighter I’m off the blood pressure medication and my cholesterol is back to normal.
I would recommend anyone and everyone to train with Justin! I am currently assigned to a graveyard shift at work so I don’t have a lot of spare time but Justin is always willing to work with my schedule and fit me in. Initially I was skeptical to work with a trainer, I thought it would awkward or embarrassing but Justin has always made me comfortable and has always motivated me to push myself. I would recommend anyone who has trouble with strength training to work out with Justin. I never had a problem doing cardio but I would get bored and unmotivated with weights. Justin is always coming up with new routines and different ways of strength training so you never get bored. Plus he’s always there to motivate you so you don’t really have a choice! Working out with Justin has been one of the best things I have done for myself. Not only is my confidence different but my health is better and I actually enjoy working out now.

I’ve been a part of the mixed martial art industry for about 5 years now, and staying in shape is something I’ve always taken pride in. After battling 2 surgeries in one year to help prevent ovarian cysts and endometriosis, I was in the worst shape of my life and had no clue where to start. Before I began training with Justin, I tried to accept that it was normal for me to be heavier then when I was yourger. I attributed the extra weight to what is referred to as “middle age spread”. In my 20’s and 30’s, I weighed between 170 to 180 lbs. As I reached my mid-40’s my weight began to fluctuate between 210 to 220 lbs. I was always tired and when I looked in the mirror I didn’t feel good about my body image.
My “BEFORE” photo was taken on December 9th, 2009 the day I started training with Justin. I was 47 years old, Height: 5’10” Weight: 233lbs. The heaviest I have ever been in my entire life.
Prior to working out with Justin, I had joined the gym hoping it would motivate me to workout regularly. It didn’t. Once I started my workout program with Justin he provided me with the “5 meals a day plan”. He explained that in order for me to reach my goal weight of 190 lbs. I needed to commit not only to changing my eating habits and working out for 1 hour three to five days per week. After the first two weeks of training I noticed that I had more energy.
There are no shortcuts to losing weight. Crash diets may allow you to lose 10 to 20 lbs fast but eventually you gain those pounds back plus a few more.
Justin has a gift for knowing how to keep you motivated. I attained my 190 lb. goal weight at the end of April 2010.
I decided to surpass that and set a new goal weight of 175lbs. With Justin’s training and sticking to the 5 meal a day plan, I reached my goal weight of 175 lbs in mid-September, 2010. I have to admit that it wasn’t an easy accomplishment. It took motivation, patience, endurance and self-discipline. Thanks Justin! I couldn’t have done it without you. |

I spend 2 to 5 hours a day exercising and another 4 to 6 hours a day investing in the stock market. The exercise helps me to keep both my mind and my body active and fit. Justin has trained me for little over three years and the results speak for themselves. When I met Justin I was plagued by sore joints and muscles, bad balance, poor metabolism, and extremely high blood pressure. Today I still have poor metabolism as I had my thyroid removed, but my joints do not ache, my balance is excellent and my blood pressure has dropped into the high normal range and thankfully continues to trend downward. When I started with Justin my goal was to achieve better health and reduce the excruciating joint pain. Today my goals are more fitness and cosmetic oriented as I try to build my endurance, lift more weight, increase my flexibility and sculpt my physique.
I consider Justin to be an excellent trainer for all age groups regardless of an individual’s personal goals. After his initial evaluation Justin adapts his training to meet the capabilities of the individual gradually pushing the individual to excel but never exceeding the individual’s limits. Justin’s personality and empathy led me to recommend Justin to several friends and acquaintances, all over 50, and most significantly over weight. All of my friends thanked me later and many recommended Justin to their friends because they were so pleased with their ability to achieve their personal fitness goals with the aid of Justin’s guidance and training.

A couple of years ago, before coming to work for Cisco, I had a significant overall improvement in my health as a result of working with a personal trainer. I was a member of a well known gym at the time, and the name of the trainer with whom I worked is Justin Andrews. Training with Justin has provided me with a long overdue wake-up call with my gym routine. Before training with him, I thought I had a solid foundation and understanding of the workout fundamentals. I did to some extent, and there was a lot of information that I already knew, but chose not to apply it. Now, I feel more confident in what I am doing in the gym, and don’t mind if people watch me performing some of the crazy things that Justin has taught me. He has introduced me to a whole new world of fitness that I never thought I would see my self partaking in: balancing on a fitness ball, core exercises that make you feel like a break-dancer, and skinning the cat on RINGS (just to name a few).
